Joy, Love the new hairstyle! Actually, I think the twins recognize you better with the lighter hair:-) Everytime I see you with the twins I realize what a great Mom you are. Even in 2-dimensional pictures, the depth of love is seen and felt. We think of you and pray for you everyday. We appreciate your consistent smile and decent nature. Love, Ann and Mark
Great pictures. I think we need to change Joy's name to Inga. It warms my heart to see Joy's beautiful smile. I am lucky to know you guys. We look forward to the fast on Friday.
Due to the overwhelming concern and support we have received, we set up this blog to easily update everyone interested in Joy's medical progress and treatments. Thank you for all of your love and support!
HOW TO HELP
(1) Visits: Joy cannot see many people during her chemotherapy treatment. Afterwards, if you plan to visit, please call ahead. She cannot be exposed to any illness or children and cannot see anyone if she is sleeping. Many times she will be too tired for visitors. Also, PLEASE NO FLOWERS, chocolates etc. They are not allowed in her hospital room.
(2) Emails/Phone calls: Please keep phone calls to a minimum right now, but feel free to post comments on this blog or email Ken at kwoolley@t-minus-10.com. Although he can't always respond immediately, he really appreciates the support he has received.
(3) Children's Needs: Joy's Mother, Pat Bradshaw, is coordinating all the kids' needs. Ken and Joy could really use some help. Ways to help: babysitting, carpooling, taking one or more of the children on outings or playdates or to a family home evening activity, helping with school projects or anything else. Please contact Pat to coordinate at 801.561.0711 (home) or 801.520.2594 (cell).
(4) Meals: Ken's Mother, Athelia Woolley, is coordinating all Food Assignments. If you'd like to help provide meals, please call her at 801.272.3035 (home) or 801.557.1790 (cell). If you are Joy's ward and would like to provide a meal to the Woolley family, please call Robin Hendrikson, the compassionate service coordinator of their ward. Her number is 801.253.1188.
(5) Prayers and Fasting: Please continue to keep Ken and Joy and their 5 children in your fasting and prayers. Also, consider putting them on the prayer rolls at your local temple.
(6) Humor: At a time like this, Joy and Ken could certainly benefit from a good belly laugh. John Woolley (Ken's brother) is putting together a collection of humor. Please send any funny stories about Joy, Ken, yourself, or anything for that matter, to jwoolley@stanford.edu. He will then forward them a daily dose! Also, Jamie Rip brought a bulletin board to the hospital where we can post any notes, photos, pictures (funny) that will lift Joy. Feel free to mail any of this to Ken's and Joy's address.

Joyous,
You look so good in today's pictures. The Swedish updo reminds me of a lady I taught in Stockholm...it looks better on you :-)
It looked like it was a good day..I hope there are more of them.

Joy!
You look beautiful--with either hairstyle! Kevin spoke with Ken the other day and he is amazing and strong just like you. We think of you always.

Love the hair...the Swede look is great but the blonde bombshell is IT! Either way, you are still a beauty...inside and out.
Princess Leia definitely. That Sanjaya dude had some funky coiffes that you might check out. Praying for you all.
